Saw this on Rod Dreher’s blog. It’s a three-minute thrashing of British Prime Minister Gordon Brown at the hands of MEP Daniel Hannon. It’s worth your time! Wouldn’t it be more fun for all of us if US politicians were so brutally honest? C-SPAN’s ratings would skyrocket, if nothing else. Anyway:

Super show by Daniel Hannon - at least someone in the EU cares about the depressing climate in the UK if Mr Brown does not - Mr Brown is trying to build a historical legacy for himself at the expense of the lower of the two tier residents we now have in this country - Tier 1 the rich & famous, bankers & our decadent MP’s, Tier 2 the rest of us. Like Mr Blair he is build up his resume for future employment when his time runs out next year he might get a job as a banker he has something in common with them, how to break the heart & soul of our country

I don’t know much about the situation in the UK, but it sounds like PM Brown has basically gambled everything on the hope that global stimulus will work. If it doesn’t, it sounds like Britain will be in even worse shape than the US.

I am still awaiting someone in our country to stand up as you so forceably and bravely did. I pray that you will run for PM. I thank you for all that you have done for us by your wise council on Universal Health Care and the like. On the 15th of this month I and my family will attend the Tea Party, down in front of the Fed on the James River in Richmond, Virginia. wish you could attend!

This guy is right on! He’s telling them what is exactly happening in the US right now under Prez Obama. It’s got to be stopped.
It is simply brilliant. What I enjoyed most was the spellbinding cadence and superb use of language. We continue to be told by the liberal media that Obama is a master of communications. But when you get to see Hannan, you see a real master and Obama comes off like a flunky by comparison with his mumbling style and confused stuttering. Republicans could learn a great deal from Hannan about style and direct clear speech. I was listening to Romney a couple of days ago and he just rattled on barely taking a breath and running every line together until nothing was transmitted but a compressor hum. A Republican voice like that of Hannan would break through the fog of Obama’s improvised drug induced stylings. Obama wants to lull you into a socialist slumber, like a bum sniffing glue by a dumpster and peering out onto the world with red glazed sclera. Hannan stood like a lighthouse and in clear tones fractured the liberal policies with swift surgical strikes. All was said the message received.
